Yummy Delicious Poha
Poha is made from rice. And it is very testy and healthy source of food. Poha is used in many ways in cooking.
Poha is one of the widely preferred dish in wastern states of india. In this poha recipe potapo (aloo) is also used so we can called its aloo poha dish.

Serves - 2 serving
Ingredients:

2 cups thick Poha (rice flakes)
|
1 medium Onion, finely chopped (approx. 1/3 cup)
|
1 small Potato, peeled and finely chopped
(approx. ½ cup)
|
1 Green Chili, finely chopped
|
1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
|
8-10 Curry Leaves
|
1/3 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
|
1 pinch of Asafoetida (Hing), optional
|
1½ tablespoon Peanuts (ground nuts)
|
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
|
1½ teaspoons Lemon Juice
|
1/2 tablespoon Sugar
|
1 tablespoon grated Coconut, optional
|
Salt to taste
|
2 tablespoons Oil
|
1/4 cup Pomegranate Seeds, optional
|
2 tablespoons finely chopped Coriander Leaves
|
Directions:
- Take poha in large strainer.
- Wash it gently with water and after wash salt and sugar sprinkle on it.
- Heat 2 tablespoon oil in pan. when oil heat then add muster seeds and when they start splutter , add cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chilly, peanuts and a pinch of asafoetida and cook them until chilly make crisp.
- Add chopped onion and cook until it brown.
- Add chopped potato and salt into it.
- mixed well and cover with lid and cook until it soft.
- Now add turmeric and socked poha and mixed well.
- Now add lemon juice, grated coconut and coriander leaves.
- mixed well and turn off flame.
- Poha is ready to serve.
